2b. Remove lower fascia – Using a Philips head screwdriver remove 2
screw from the driver and passenger sides.
3. Remove bumper beam – using a 12mm socket, remove (8) M8
bolts, (4) per side, that hold bumper beam to end panel, and return
factory bolts to vehicle owner. See Figure 1.

2c. Remove lower fascia - using plastic trim panel tools, starting at
outer edges near wheel well, while gently pulling rearward, release
clips and remove lower fascia. NOTE: There are 3 wire harness
mounting clips on the top that need to be removed.
4. Modify bumper beam – using a hammer, bend the metal tabs on
back of bumper beam so they are flush with bumper beam mounting
surface. See Figure 3.
