6. Install fasteners – using a 13mm socket, install (8) M8 hex bolts,
helical lock washers, and flat washers provided with hitch into
weldnuts in end panel, (4) per side.
8. Reinstall lower fascia – reinstall the lower fascia aligning tabs in lower fascia with upper fascia.
Reinstall the (6) retaining clips into fascia tabs removed in step 2a.
9. Reinstall wheel well trim and underbody panels – reinstall the wheel well trim and (2) underbody
panels using the original fasteners noted in steps 1 and 2.

7. Tighten all M8 CL8.8 fasteners with torque wrench to
20 Lb.-Ft. (27 N*M)
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
