• Position the appropriate amount of carbon braids or chosen
reinforcement. For better attachment it is recommended that the
braids are layered over the aluminum piece.
• Tie off the overhanging braids around the base grove using a heavy
thread. ensure that the tie stays tight (Figure 5).
• Fold the overhanging braids over the socket.
• Finish with a stockinette for cosmetic finish, if desired.
• Seal holes thoroughly using the sealant tape provided and apply
grease on the bottom attachment surface of the aluminum adapter
(alternatively seal the surface with PVC tape).(Figure 4)
• Pull a PVA bag and pour in resin.
• Tie off excess resin before it reaches the gel state. Allow resin to
harden.
• Grind off the excess cured resin around the edge of the aluminum
adapter.
• Expose the attachment surface. Care must be taken to not grind the
aluminum piece itself!
• Assemble and torque attachment bolts according to specifications
using Loctite 410. To avoid stripping the hex-slot of the bolt, make
sure to use sharp hexkeys and ensure full engagement of key to hex
slot of the bolts. See also instructions for LP Vari-Flex (Figure 6+7).

It is important that the torque specifications are met.

Do not reuse adapter attachment bolts, which have been torqued
according to specifications or if Loctite has been applied to them. New
bolts must be used.
