• It should be ensured that the packing gland has been placed inside the cable protector and tightened, thereby preventing
water from entering the electric motor.
• Attention must be paid that water does not enter the motor and electrical parts under power in any way.
• If the planned use is not the one that has been mentioned, additional adjustments and technical standards may be
necessary.
PRECAUTIONS DURING START-UP
Before starting up the machine, the calibration of the electrical protection mechanisms should be checked, as should the
correct positioning and fixing of protection of electrical and mechanical contacts.
PRECAUTIONS DURING ASSEMBLY AND MAINTENANCE WORK
• National regulations on installations must be taken into account during assembly and installation of pumps.
• Attention must be paid that water does not enter the motor and electrical parts under power in any way.
• Contact, including accidental, should be avoided at all times with the moving parts of the machine during operation and/or
before bringing it to a complete stop.
• It is essential to wait until the machine is at a complete stop before handling.
• Before carrying out any kind of electrical or mechanical maintenance procedure, ensure that the machine has been
disconnected from the electrical supply and that the start-up mechanisms are blocked.
Due to the complexity of the cases, the installation, use and maintenance instructions contained in this manual do not
claim to cover all possible and imaginable cases of service and maintenance. If additional instructions are needed or if
particular problems arise, do not hesitate to contact the distributor or directly contact the manufacturer of the machine.

3. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

• The electrical installation should have a multiple separation system with a contact opening of at least 3 mm.
• With any kind of pump it is necessary that a differential protector of 0.03 A is put in place to protect from electrical leaks.
• A H07 RN-F3 1.5 mm type connection hose should be used for 230 V.
• The network cable is made up of a Live, Neutral and earth socket.
• It can only be connected by qualified and authorised personnel.
• The correct layout and connection of the earth cable should be verified whilst installing the unit.
• It is very important that the installation conditions and electrical connections are respected, as otherwise the pump
manufacturer does not accept any responsibility and makes the guarantee null and void.
• The motors are subject to EU standards with IP-X2 protection.
• Special installation rules may exist.
• An inappropriate network connection would represent danger of death.

4. START-UP INSTRUCTIONS

MATTERS TO BEAR IN MIND BEFORE START-UP
• It should be ensured that the power and network strength correspond to those set out on the rating plate of the pump.
• If the pump stops, it should be checked that the consumption in amperes of the operating motor is the same as or less
than that marked on the manufacturer's rating plate, or in default whereof, contact the nearest Service Centre.
• If the amperage is higher, consult the manufacturer.
