Post-use Instructions
7.1
After Use
1 . Disconnect the Camera Head from the Camera Control System by pulling the Camera
Head connector from the Camera Control System .
2 . Disconnect the Light Cable from the Camera Control System .
3 . Turn off power to the Camera Control System by pressing the Power Button on the front of
the device .
4 . Follow the Cleaning Instructions provided in "7 .2 .1, Cleaning Instructions" .
WARNING! The power switch on the front of the device places it in Standby Mode. To
fully disconnect the device from Supply Mains, use the Supply Mains power switch on
the back of the device
7.2
Re-Use
The Camera Control System is a reusable device that is not intended to come into contact with
the patient . It may be cleaned between uses according to "7 .2 .1, Cleaning Instructions", but
never sterilized .
Between each use, the Camera Control System clears White Balance settings, Brightness
settings, Enhance Settings, Patient Information, captured images, and recorded videos . These
settings and information must be adjusted prior to each use .

7.2.1 Cleaning Instructions
Turn off the Camera Control System and unplug it from Supply Mains before cleaning . Follow
standard procedures for handling of blood and body fluids . Using a dilute mixture of mild
detergent in water and a soft towel or swab, wipe down the faceplate of the device .
WARNING! Disconnect the device from the main power source when cleaning, servicing
or inspecting the device.
CAUTION! Allowing fluid to enter the device may result in damage to the device.
CAUTION! Sterilizing the device will damage the device.
NOTE: Certain cleaning agents may cause degradation of the faceplate and product labeling.
Consult the detergent manufacturer to ensure the detergent is compatible with PC.
7.3
Maintenance
The following procedures may be performed by a biomedical engineer or biomedical technician .
