8.3 SELEZIONE MODALITA' TIG
NOTE: numbers shown below are referring to Fig. 1 chapter 6

1. Turn ON the generator by
turning the switch (13) in
position "1".
2. Press the pushbutton (1)
until the LED (8) lights up.
3. Turn the knob (7) to re-
gulate the welding current
value.
The value is visualized on
the digital display.
8.4 LIFTARC IGNITION
In TIG mode, the arc striking is possibile by rubbing of the tungsten
electrode on the welding peace. Proceed as follows:
CRONOS SERIES
1. Touch the metal with the
ceramic part of the torch.
2. By a slope of the wrist
rotate the torch upward and
touch the base metal with
the tungsten electrode.
3. Return to the original
position by an opposite "up-
down" rotation movement.
The TIG arc will be ON.
4. To break the arc, remove
the torch from the base
metal.
