Before operating the tool

Ensure the machine is unlocked in the highest position. Press the unlock button to be sure.
Check that the disc is correctly placed, in good condition and appropriate for the material you wish
to cut.
Ensure the clamp (13) can turn. Check the function of the lower disc guard (5).
Ensure the pipe is properly distributed.
Open the disc guard and ensure the saw is free of any shavings and that the disc is in perfect
condition for use and rotates freely, with no obstructions. After verifying this, return the disc guard
to its location.
3.3

Connecting to the mains

Ensure the electric voltage used coincides with the technical specifications on the machine's plate.
Connect the saw to the power supply only after performing this check.
3.4

Precise adjustment of the cutting point and placement of the pipe on the supports

Use the supports of the machine when cutting the pipes. This ensures safe work and optimum
results. Work on a firm, flat surface. Place the pipes on two supports, so the cutting point is
between the supports. Place two additional supports under both ends of the pipe. Checks that all
the support wheels touch the pipe (Figure B).
When cutting short pipes (maximum 10" – 250 mm) place the supports in such a way that the
cutting points are outside of the supports (Figure C). If you take suitable measures, you will
prevent the disc getting trapped when cutting the pipes.
3.5

Securing the saw to the pipe

Open the clamp of the saw just enough to cover the diameter of the pipe, by turning the clamp
adjustment handle at the back of the saw (Figure D/1).
Place the saw above the pipe you are going to cut so that the laser line is aligned over cutting
mark. Secure the saw to the pipe to cut by pressing the control until the clamp is firmly tightened
around the pipe (Figure D/2). Hold the pipe in place and ensure the saw moves unhindered in the
direction of the cut.
To guarantee safe operation, ensure the cables of the saw are to the left of the saw. The saw is
already ready to cut.
