Fan Motor

1. Remove the belt guard.
2. Remove the fan belt.
3. Remove the four bolts and washers from the motor
mount fl anges. See Fig.18.

4. Open the electrical access panel on the motor and
disconnect the motor wiring. See Fig. 19.

5. Remove the motor pulley from the motor shaft.
• When reinstalling the motor, ensure the motor
pully is fl ush to the shaft end of the motor.

Air Pressure Switch

The air pressure switch is located on the side of the fan
housing, above the fan motor, inside the louvered door.
See Fig. 20

1. Disconnect the electrical leads from the air pressure
switch.
2. Remove the clear tubes from the air pressure switch.
3. Remove the screws that secure the switch bracket to
the fan housing panel.
3. Disconnect the leads from the air proving switch.
If the air pressure switch contacts are closed on a call for
heat before the fan motor starts, or do not close after the
fan motor starts, the igniter will not spark nor will the gas
valve open.
