For brushing the heat carrier is added to the extremity by means of a brush. The extremity is then
packed in an isolating cover.

With some heat carriers one can also use an intermediate skin like Parafoil ®.
9 Cleaning and maintenance
9.1
Cleaning
Before cleaning, switch off the device and unplug it from the wall socket.

The Paraffin bath can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a (non abrasive) liquid household cleaner.
9.2
Maintenance
The device should not be used when mechanical damage is noticed. This includes damaged cable
insulation.

It is mandatory to have the paraffin bath checked yearly by authorized personnel of Enraf-Nonius or
by its authorized distributor.

It is also recommended that a service history record is maintained. In some countries, this is even
obligatory.

In order to obtain spare parts, you please contact your supplier.
9.3
Expected service life
This device will remain suitable for its intended use as long as it is subjected to yearly maintenance by a
qualified service engineer as described in the service manual.
The service engineer will decide whether the device is suitable for use according to the specifications.
9.4
End of life
Your Paraffin bath contains materials which can be recycled and/or are noxious for the environment. At
the end of the duration of life, specialised con-cerns can take apart the Paraffin bath and sort out the
noxious materials and materials for recycling. By doing so you contribute to a better environment.
Please ensure that you are well informed of the local rules and regulations regarding
the removal of equipment and accessories.
