2. Install Drain Body
NOTE: To ease the installation, get assistance lifting the shower receptor.
Assemble Drain Body to Shower Receptor
Slide the rubber washer, and fiber washer onto the drain body from underneath the shower
receptor.
Secure the drain body to the shower receptor with the locknut.
Position Shower Receptor
Position the shower receptor over the drain pipe.
Complete Drain Body Installation
Insert the drain seal and nut into the drain pipe.
Using the wrench provided, turn the nut clockwise until the drain seal is compressed. Remove the
wrench.
Set the strainer into the drain body.
3. Prepare Existing Wall
NOTE: The wall surround can be installed over drywall, plaster, painted walls, plywood, and ceramic tile.
Scrape the walls to remove any loose paint, wallpaper, tile, or any other loose material.
If more than one-third of the existing wall tile is loose, remove the remaining tile or patch around
the tile with spackle. Allow the spackle to dry for at least 24 hours.
If plaster or wallboard has been damaged, use primer or waterproof sealant to repair the area.
