19. Connect the sample tubing to the sensor.
20. Start the flow of water to the sensor, then push confirm.
The output signal returns to the active state and the measured sample value shows on the
measure screen.
4.8 Enter the calibration offset and slope manually
As an alternative to the 2-point calibration procedure, manually enter the offset and slope values to
fine tune the factory calibration.
1. Select SENSOR SETUP > [select sensor] > CALIBRATION.
2. Select an option.
Option Description
SET SLOPE Enter a slope. Options: 0.01 to 9.99. Default: 1.00.
Note: PAH = (uncalibrated PAH x slope) + offset
SET OFFSET Enter an offset. Options: -9999.0 to 9999.0 (default: 0).
Note: PAH = (uncalibrated PAH x slope) + offset.
Note: Calculate and enter the offset value before the slope value is identified and entered.
4.9 Show calibration information
1. Select SENSOR SETUP > [select sensor] > CALIBRATION > CAL DATA.
2. Select an option.
Option Description
LAST CAL Shows the date of the last calibration.
DATE Note: The production date of the digital gateway shows until the 2-point calibration
procedure is done.
SLOPE Shows the slope value from the last calibration (or the value entered manually).
Note: The slope value is 1.00 when the sensor is set to the factory calibration.
OFFSET Shows the offset value from the last calibration (or the value entered manually).
Note: The offset value is 0.0 µg/L PAH when the sensor is set to the factory calibration.
4.10 Set to factory calibration
To set the sensor back to the factory calibration, select SENSOR SETUP > [select sensor] >
CALIBRATION > SET CAL DEFLT.
