Setting instructions
Winding, time-setting and correction:
The winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) can be placed
in three positions A, B and C.
A: Pushed against the case, winding position.
This is the normal position when the watch is being worn and
guarantees its water-resistance.
It is unnecessary to fully wind a watch that is going to be worn.
The crown (I) will not be locked at the end of the winding cycle;
the mechanism therefore cannot be damaged.
N.B.: A full winding = 40 turns of the crown (I)
B: Date-setting position (calendar).
IMPORTANT: The date must not be set between 8 pm and 2 am.
1. In position A, rotate the crown (I) clockwise 10 times
2. Pull the crown (I) into position C, then turn the hours and minu-
tes hands (1 and 2) until the date changes when passing 12 o'clock
(midnight)
3. Move the hours and minutes hands (1 and 2) forward to the de-
sired time while ensuring not to be in the time range during which
the date cannot be changed (between 8 pm and 2 am)
4. Pull the crown (I) into position B, then adjust the date by turning
it clockwise or anti-clockwise
5. Push the crown (I) back to position A so the watch can continue
to operate.
12
N.B.: The watch does not automatically account for the number
of days in a month. It will therefore have to be corrected manually
for months with fewer than 31 days.
C: Time-setting position.
When the crown (I) is unscrewed and pulled out to this position,
the watch stops completely.
IMPORTANT: Do not pass the date change time (midnight) by tur-
ning the hands in the opposite direction.
1. In position A, rotate the crown (I) clockwise 10 times
2. To set the time precisely, pull out the crown (I) to position C
when the seconds hand (3) is at 12 o'clock
3. Move the hours and minutes hands (1 and 2) forward to the de-
sired time
4. Push the crown (I) back to position A to restart the watch
N.B.: If the time is set during the afternoon, the hour hand (1)
must have carried out more than a full rotation since the last date
change (4) to ensure a date change at midnight.
Water-resistance
The water-resistance of the watch has been tested at a pressure
of 3 bar.
