Setting instructions
Winding and time-setting:
The winding and time-setting crown (I) can occupy two positions:
A and B.
A: Pushed against the case, winding position.
This is the normal position when the watch is worn. It guarantees
optimum water-resistance.
When the power-reserve hand (6) is close to the minimum, wind the
watch by rotating the winding and time-setting crown (I) through
several turns. The power-reserve hand (6) enables the wearer to
follow the progress of the winding mechanism. It is unnecessary to
fully wind a watch which is to be worn. The winding and time-setting
crown (I) will not block at the end of the winding procedure; there is
therefore no risk of damage to the mechanism.
B: Time-setting position.
When pulled out to this position, the winding and time-setting
crown (I) will stop the watch (stop-seconds system). To set a precise
time, pull the winding and time-setting crown (I) out to position B
when the seconds hand (3) is at 12 o'clock and then turn it until
the hour and minute hands (1 and 2) show the desired time. Then
push the winding and time-setting crown (I) back into position A to
restart the watch.
NOTE: If you are setting the time in the afternoon, the hour hand (1)
must have made one complete rotation since the last day and date
change (hands 4 and 5) to guarantee the date change at midnight.

Setting the date (calendar) and day of the week:
IMPORTANT: The date (5) or day of the week (4) must never be
set by pressing the date or day of the week correctors (II and Ill)
between 6pm and midnight.
Date correction (5):
To correct the date (5) operate the the date corrector (II) using the
corrector pen (IV) supplied with the watch. Each pressure on the the
date corrector (II) moves the date forward one day.
NOTE: The watch does not take account of the number of days in
the month. Months with less than 31 days will therefore have to be
readjusted manually using the date corrector (II).
Day of the week correction (4):
The day of the week (4) may be changed by operating the day of
the week corrector (Ill) using the corrector pen (IV) supplied with the
watch. Each pressure on the day of the week corrector (III) moves
the date forward one day.
Then push the winding and time-setting crown (I) back to position
A to restart the watch.
Water-resistance
The water-resistance of the watch has been tested at a pressure
of 3 bar.
