    1 Description and Intended Purpose These Instructions for Use are intended for the practitioner and user unless otherwise stated. The term device is used throughout to refer to the Javelin. Please read and ensure you understand these instructions, in particular all safety information and maintenance instructions.

    4 Function This device comprises an e-carbon composite toe spring pylon and independent heel spring. The pylon should be cut to length to suit individual users. Heel and toe springs are attached to the carrier assembly using titanium screws. The foot is wrapped in a UHM PE sock which is in turn surrounded by a PU foot shell.
