05.2 ETHERNET CONNECTION

In addition to access via free software or access control software, it is possible to
access some settings of the MG3000 through an internal webpage (via internet
browser). See 14.
The physical connection between the MG3000 and the Computer is made accor-
ding to the TIA-568A standard, crimping pin by pin (identical crimp at both ends
of the cable), as shown in the illustration in figure 5.3.a. For the TCP/IP network,
the cables indicated are CAT5 and CAT6 UTP CABLES.

06. CONNECTION WITH RECEPTORS

Each MG3000 can receive up to 8 Nice Brazil receivers of each type, intercon-
nected with each other and with the MG3000 through 4-way terminal connec-
tors. Regardless of the number of receivers or connection sequence, there will
remain 2 points at the beginning and end of the interconnection, which
must be shorted with the internal jumpers at the end of the line. Recom-
mended cable: AFT 2X22 AWG CABLE for distances up to 500m. In case of
difficulties in CAN communication even if using the recommended cable, ground
each point of the network (each cable end) connecting the mesh to the condo-
minium grounding panel.
