Nota bene
Date corrections should never be
carried out when the watch shows
a time between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m.
If you are uncertain of the time shown
by the hands (whether a.m. or p.m.),
move the hour and minute hands for-
wards (crown in position 4) to 1 a.m.,
after the date change. Then correct
the date.
Rapid date correction
Release the crown by turning it down-
wards (
), then pull it to position 3.
M
Turn the crown upwards ( ) to move
to the correct date. Push the crown
back to position 2 and secure it by
turning it upwards ( ).
Important note
This watch is guaranteed water-resis-
tant to 10 bar (100 m), provided the
crown is in position 1.

A tribute to seafarers
The engraved inscription on the case-
back of your Marine watch testifies
to its distinguished back-ground. It
was in 1815 that King Louis VIII
appointed A.-L. Breguet as Horloger
to the French Royal Navy, the greatest
honour to which a watchmaker could
aspire. With its handsome reinforced
case and fine automatic movement,
your M
pays homage to the qual-

ity and inventiveness of our founder's
exceptionally
accurate
chronometers.
