Installing The Tm-Cu On The Pivot - Airbus TETRAPOL MOBILE Instrucción De Instalación

1st case: no existing configuration (system cable HG5621)
• If necessary, install the seal for Sub-D 25-pin connector (Plate A-V, item 2) on the 25-pin
connector for system cable HG5621 to ensure a IP54 level seal
• Connect the system cable to the BER
• On the back panel of the TM-CU (Plate A-IV):
- Connect the system cable HIROSE connector (item 11) to the 22-pin male system
connector linking it to the terminal
- Insert the system cable into its recess (item 10)
- Insert the rubber retaining piece into its recess (item 9)
2nd case: with a CCP configuration (system cable HG4354)
• Connect the Sub-D 25-pin male connector of the adapter cable HG5619 to the Sub-D
25-pin female connector of the system cable HG4354 in place
• On the back panel of the TM-CU:
- Connect the HIROSE connector (DF series, 11-22-pin female connector) of the
adapter cable (item 11) to the 22-pin male system connector of the TM-CU
- Insert the adapter cable into its recess (item 10)
- Insert the rubber retaining piece into its recess (item 9)
3rd case: with a CH configuration (system cable HG5114)
• Connect the Sub-D 25-pin male connector of the HG5620 adapter cable to the Sub-D
25-pin female connector of the system cable HG5114 in place
• On the back panel of the TM-CU:
- Connect the HIROSE (DF series, 11-22-pin female connector) connector of the
adapter cable (item 11) to the 22-pin male system connector of the TM-CU
- Insert the adapter cable into its recess (item 10)
- Insert the rubber retaining piece into its recess (item 9)

Installing the TM-CU on the pivot

1st case: installing the TM-CU in the dashboard shell
• Install and secure the cable support plate (item 3) to the back panel of the TM-CU with
two butterfly screws (item 5)
• Install the dashboard seal (item 7) on the dashboard shell (item 4), paying attention to
the order of assembly. The seal tab "L" (Left) must be positioned on the left.
• Carefully insert the TM-CU (item 2) in the dashboard shell (item 4)
• Secure the TM-CU (item 2) inside the dashboard shell (item 4) with the two fastening
screws (item 20)
2nd case: installing the TM-CU on the support plate
• Carefully position the back face of the TM-CU (item 2) on the cable support plate
(item 3)
• Secure the cable support plate (item 3) with two butterfly screws (item 5)
