preparation before operation

• If the air conditioner uses R22 or R410A refrigerant, make sure to
charge it in liquid state, otherwise, chemical composition of refrig-
erant (R22 or R410A) inside the system may change affecting the
performance of the air conditioner.
• According to the characteristics of refrigerant (R410A, the value of
GWP is 2088), the pressure of the tube is very high, so be careful
when installing and repairing the appliance.
• The temperature of refrigerant circuit will be high, keep the inter-
connection cables away from copper piping.
before using the air conditioner
Before using the air conditioner, be sure to check and preset the fol-
lowing:
• Remote control. After replacing the remote control batteries with
new ones or when it is energized, the remote control auto preset
the heat pump. If the air conditioner model you acquired is a cool-
ing only model, the heat pump remote control can be used.
• Backlight function of remote control (on some models).
Hold down any button on remote control for about 2 seconds to
activate the backlight. It automatically shuts off after 10 seconds.
• Auto Restart. The air conditioner is equipped with an Auto-Re-
start function. You can set or cancel this function when the air
conditioning is running. Hold down the EMERGENCY ON/OFF but-
ton for a few seconds. This function will be set if you hear two
beeps. If you hear a single beep, this function will be cancelled.
