Your weighing terminal is used for weighing. Use the terminal exclusively for this purpose. Any other type of use and operation
beyond the limits of technical specifications without written consent from Mettler-Toledo, LLC is considered as not intended.
It is essential for the buyer to closely observe the installation information, product and system manuals, operating instructions and
other documentation and specifications. MT's warranty and any liability are expressly excluded for damages caused by non-
compliance with the applicable manuals.
Do not use the terminal in any environment or category other than those specified under Specifications.

READ the Installation Guide on the enclosed IND780 Terminal Resource CD BEFORE operating or servicing this equipment, FOLLOW
all instructions carefully, and SAVE all documentation for future reference.
FOR CONTINUED PROTECTION AGAINST SHOCK HAZARD CONNECT TO PROPERLY GROUNDED OUTLET ONLY. DO NOT REMOVE THE GROUND
PRONG.
NOT ALL VERSIONS OF THE IND780 ARE DESIGNED FOR USE IN HAZARDOUS (EXPLOSIVE) AREAS. REFER TO THE DATA PLATE OF THE IND780
TO DETERMINE IF A SPECIFIC TERMINAL IS APPROVED FOR USE IN AN AREA CLASSIFIED AS HAZARDOUS BECAUSE OF COMBUSTIBLE OR
EXPLOSIVE ATMOSPHERES
IF THE KEYBOARD, DISPLAY LENS OR ENCLOSURE IS DAMAGED ON A DIVISION 2 APPROVED OR CATEGORY 3 MARKED IND780 TERMINAL
THAT IS USED IN A DIVISION 2 OR ZONE 2/22 AREA, THE DEFECTIVE COMPONENT MUST BE REPAIRED IMMEDIATELY. REMOVE AC POWER
IMMEDIATELY AND DO NOT REAPPLY AC POWER UNTIL THE DISPLAY LENS, KEYBOARD OR ENCLOSURE HAS BEEN REPAIRED OR REPLACED BY
QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN BODILY HARM AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
DO NOT CLEAN HAZARDOUS LOCATION MODELS WITH DRY CLOTH. USE ONLY DAMP CLOTH AND GENTLE CONTACT TO PREVENT GENERATING
STATIC CHARGE ON THE OVERLAY.
IN ORDER TO INSTALL THE DIVISION 2 APPROVED IND780 TERMINAL UTILIZING THE U.S. APPROVAL, METTLER TOLEDO CONTROL DRAWING
64069877 MUST BE FOLLOWED WITHOUT EXCEPTION. IN ORDER TO INSTALL THE CATEGORY 3 MARKED IND780 UTILIZING THE EUROPEAN
APPROVAL, THE DEMKO APPROVAL CERTIFICATE 07ATEX0520819X AND ALL LOCAL REGULATIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED WITHOUT
EXCEPTION. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN BODILY HARM AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. REFER TO THE IND780 DIVISION 2 AND ZONE
