6. If food adapters are required, slide one adapter on to the skewer
with the teeth facing away from the handle (image 5a). Proceed to step
7 but remember to add the second adapter to the end of the produce
once step 7 is complete (image 5b). Ensure you push the adaptors into
the produce as far as possible. Note, they will be easier to insert into
softer produce, but on harder produce they may not insert fully.
7. Cut the produce to length if required. Hold the produce firmly on
a flat dry surface and insert the skewer in to the centre (image 6a).
Push the skewer as far as you can without the use of excessive force.
To push the skewer all the way through, flip the skewer so that food
skewer handle is on a surface. Whilst holding the produce, gently tap
the handle against the surface (image 6b). The produce needs to be
central on the skewer.

8. (Image 7) Insert the tip of the food skewer in to the food skewer
locator (a). Push the skewer down until the food skewer handle clips in
to place (b).
Tip: Before starting to process the food, check that the main
body is firmly attached to the surface.

9: Place the main body on a flat, dry surface with the handle facing you
and the locking lever pointing towards the handle. Applying downward
pressure on the main body, rotate the locking lever through 180
degrees so that it is locked in place on the surface (image 8a). This
should now be secure to the surface. Test and repeat action until the
main body is secured to the surface.
To unlock the locking lever, reverse step 9. To release from the surface,
you may need to use your fingertips to ease the foot away from the
surface (image 8b).

Tip: The foot of the main body will adhere best to flat,
smooth surfaces. If you are experiencing problems with
the foot attaching to your surface it is recommended that
you use a marble chopping board, glass surface protector
or similar surface to secure the main body before use.
