Replacing gear unit

1. Disconnect the power and compressed air supply.
2. Disconnect the air supply lines (A) for the cylinders for
opening and closing the clamping jaws. The air supply
lines are located under the clamping plate (B).

3. Machines with pneumatic rim mounting: Disconnect
the hoses (C) from the cylinders beneath the center-
ing plate.

4. Unscrew the central bolt (D) of the clamping plate (B).
5. Detach the clamping plate (B) with the help of a sec-
ond person.

6. Remove the spring (E) from the gear unit shaft.
7. Unscrew the bolt (F) of the swivel mount (G) and pull
the mount out of the gear unit housing.

8. Remove the side cover (H).
9. Unscrew the nut (I) of the belt tensioning bolt located
directly above the motor mount.
10. Remove the drive belt (L).
