Changing gear oil

i The gear unit has to be removed to change the gear
oil (Section 5.7).
i ATTENTION: The gear oil must be replaced after
every 5 years of operation.
1. Place a collector beneath the gear unit (A).
2. Detach the cap with dipstick (B).
3. Drain off and dispose of the gear oil.

4. Place the gear unit on the ground. Unscrew the hexagon
socket head bolts (C) holding the gear unit together.

5. Separate the two halves of the gear unit housing by
applying one or more screwdrivers.

i There is a silicone seal between the two halves of
the gear unit.
6. Carefully take out the gear wheel (D) and the belt
shaft (E).
7. Completely drain off the contaminated gear oil. Care-
fully clean the inside of the gear unit by spraying it with
oil or using a similar substance.
