i IT versions: Insert the seal in the seat of the gear unit.
Take care not to damage the seal.
14. Insert the new gear unit and secure with the retaining
bolts (U) and nuts.
15. Insert the IT valve (Q) and secure with the valve brack-
et. Take care not to damage the valve seal.
16. Secure the motor. Then attach the drive belt (L). Take
the utmost care when doing so.
i ATTENTION: When fitting, it is advisable to use a
13 mm wrench to guide the belt in the pulley.
17. Adjust the belt tension (Section 6.6).
18. Machines with pneumatic rim mounting: Re-connect
the hose (M) for the pneumatic rim mounting attach-
ment beneath the gear unit and secure with the hose
clamp (N) at the valve (see Fig. 13).
19. Insert the swivel mount (G) and secure with the bolt
(F) (see Fig. 30).
20. Insert the spring (E) in its holder at the swivel mount
(G).
21. Remove the cap with dipstick (V) on top of the gear
unit housing.
22. Check the gear oil level. The minimum oil level is
indicated by the constriction on the dipstick.
i If the level is below this, add a maximum of 500 ml of oil.

23. Insert the clamping plate (B) in its mount with the
help of a second person. Connect the hoses (A) to the
cylinders for opening and closing the clamping jaws.
24. Connect the hoses (C) for the pneumatic rim mount-
ing system.
25. Connect the compressed air and power supply.
Check correct operation of all components.
