SET UP INSTRUCTIONS

Before Set Up
Each Health o meter
assembled in one carton. Carefully inspect the carton for shipping damage before unpacking. If
damage is found, contact your shipper or a Health o meter
immediately at 1-800-815-6615. Claims must be filed with the shipper as soon as possible after
receipt of the package. The following information details what you will find inside the main
carton as you unpack the parts for assembly.
To prevent scratching any components, carefully remove each assembly from the carton and
unwrap the packing materials. Set the carton aside for storage. To avoid damaging the scale
parts when unpacking, do not use a box cutter, knife, scissors, or any sharp object to open the
protective inner packaging.
Carton Contents
(1) Scale base, including 6V rechargeable battery
(1) Stainless steel weighing pan (3400KL / 3400KG / 3400KG-C) or tray (3401KL)
(1) Battery charger

Attaching the Weighing Pan/Tray
1. Place the scale on a sturdy surface free from vibration. Use the adjustable leveling feet and
the level indicator to level the scale.
2. Locate the positioning pins on the underside of the weighing pan/tray. Align the pins on the
bottom of the pan/tray with the holes on the cross arms of the scale's base. Gently place the
pins into the holes until level and secure. Ensure all four pins are placed entirely through
holes, as shown below.
