Clean the Screen/Replace the Piston (cont.)
Reinstall the screen with the tapered screen end pointing
outward.
Thread the retainer into the inlet arm.
Using a socket wrench, slightly tighten the retainer. Do not over
tighten the retainer.
Position and align the valve body to both the control stop valve
and the vacuum breaker.
Ensure that the friction washer is installed between the valve
body and the vacuum breaker.
Thread the vacuum breaker nut onto the bottom of the valve
body.
Thread the inlet arm valve nut onto the stop valve.
Using a strap wrench, tighten both nuts.
Open the control stop valve.
Verify the valve functions.
