SCREEN SAVER
O N
: When the unit is switched on, but is in Standby mode, then
after about a minute, a screen saver appears. Press any
button to return to the actual image.
O F F
: There is no screen saver activated.
SPEAKER SETUP
This is where you set the size for each loudspeaker group of your unit (two
front, one center, two rear loudspeakers and one subwoofer).
L A R G E
: Use this setting when the loudspeaker membrane has a
diameter larger than about 12 cm (5").
S M A L L
: Use this setting for smaller loudspeakers.
O F F
: You can set center, rear loudspeakers and the subwoofer to
O F F
loudspeakers.
T E S T T O N E :
Here you can hear a buzzing sound from each individual
loudspeaker. Use this function to set the volume and delay
individually .
CHANNEL DELAY
If you cannot set the six loudspeakers in an arc (as described on page
page 12), you can balance out deviations from the arc here. In this case,
the arc is defined from the front loudspeakers.
In the adjoining example, the value for the rear left loudspeaker is set to 50
cm, and for the rear right loudspeaker to 40 cm.
Use the navigation button
NEL DELAY entry. Select one of the loudspeakers by pressing

cm. The maximum distance that can be set between speakers is 600 cm.
Confirm your selection by pressing ENTER.
Since the circle of sound is defined by the front loudspeakers, these cannot
be selected for this function.
PRO LOGIC II
If you use sound media in Dolby Pro Logic II format (see also page 7 ), you
can carry out the relevant set-up (the settings for Dolby Digital are found
directly in the set-up values).
