Set bookmarks – BOOKMARK
You can set "bookmarks" to restart the film at a particular position.
While playing, press the button BOOKMARK . On the screen the
B O O K M A R K
menu appears with twelve fields.
To interrupt the function, press BOOKMARK again.
To set the first bookmark, press PLAY . A bookmark is placed at the
current position in the film (in the adjoining example at title 10, chapter
8, 15 minutes and 23 seconds).
To start the film at this point, press PLAY again.
To remove the bookmark, press CLEAR .
To hide the menu and let the film continue, press BOOKMARK again.
To set further bookmarks, call the B O O K M A R K menu again as
required and use the navigation buttons
Press PLAY again to set a bookmark.
To select another bookmark, use the navigation buttons again to go to
the corresponding field, and press PLAY .
The bookmarks are retained if you have pressed STOP twice (Stop
mode). In Standby mode or when you switch off the unit, the
bookmarks are however lost.
The Bookmark function will not work with some discs (e. g. DivX-
discs).

menu option of the DIGEST menus - see the next section.
Select digest – DIGEST
With the Digest function you can navigate your DVD with the help of a
Picture Preview.
While playing, press the button BAND/DIGEST . You will now see the

menu with the following options:

Titles overview

Confirm T I T L E D I G E S T with ENTER . After a brief loading time, the
start screens of all titles available on the DVD are displayed in reduced
windows. Up to six images can be displayed for each screen page.
In the menu below the images, the following option is available: S E L E C T
the total number of titles.
Select a title by choosing a start image with the navigation buttons, or
using the number pad of the remote control to enter the number of the
start image (for single digit numbers enter a 0 in front).
Then press ENTER , to start playing the chosen title.
