The software PowerShield

It is also capable of performing certain operations automatically i.e. shutdown, sending e-mail, text messages and
network messages in order to check particular events selected by the user.
Installation operations:

Connect the RS232 communication port of the CPS to one of the COM communication ports on the PC using
the serial cable supplied* or connect the USB port of the CPS to one of the USB ports on the PC using a
standard USB cable*.

Download the software from www.ups-technet.com, selecting the desired operating system.
▪
Follow the installation program instructions.
▪
