Pairing the RS232 Adaptor with your HR3 Hand Held Reader
The process of pairing the RS232 Adaptor with the HR3 Reader is carried out by your
Gallagher distributor. If you are receiving the Bluetooth adaptor with your Reader, the
pairing will already be in eff ect. If you are having diffi cul es, take your HR3 Reader and your
adaptor to your nearest distributor for pairing.
Tes ng the connec on between Scale and HR3 Hand Held Reader
Once the connec on between the HR3 Reader and Scale is established you need to test the
Scale is receiving the Electronic ID tag data from the Reader.
1. Ac vate the HR3 Reader.
2. Scan an Electronic ID tag.
3. Did the Electronic ID tag number display on the Scale?
• If yes, the connec on is working.
• If no, the connec on is not working.
Check the following:
• that the Bluetooth connec on icon is visible on the Reader.
• the Bluetooth light is visible on the Bluetooth adapter.
• that the Scale is set up correctly, including the Scale communica ons port
(refer to the MyScale Pro Help).
