CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Dust mantel regularly with a soft, non-lint producing cloth or household dusting product.
• This mantel comes with touch-up paint (MM) for any minor repairs.
For your safety, service must be performed by a qualified service agency.
Unplug the firebox prior to performing any maintenance.
• At least once yearly vacuum all dust and pet hair from air or heater vents
• Clean your fireplace insert with a gentle non-abrasive household cleaner.
• Make sure to dry it immediately with a soft cloth or towel.
Replacing the Remote Control Batteries:
The remote control (Q) uses 2 "AAA" batteries. To replace, open the back cover and place the
batteries in the remote. Close the cover.
Replacing the Bulbs:
This fireplace insert uses 2 clear 120-volt, 40-watt, E12-base light bulbs. The lights are located at
the bottom of the unit. You can change them from the back of the firebox. For convenience, if one
of the light bulbs burns out, it may be easier to replace all of the light bulbs at the same time.
WARNING: Do not exceed 40 watts per bulb.
Use of higher-rated bulbs may result in a fire,
causing property damage, personal injury or loss of life.
REPLACE THE LIGHT BULBS
1. Turn the insert (P) power switch to the
"OFF" position. Let the insert (P) cool if it
has been operating.
Remove the screws from the
pre-assembled access panel using
a screwdriver.
Carefully remove the light bulb. This may
require holding the light socket with one
hand while unscrewing the light bulb with
the other hand.
2. Install 40-watt, E12-base light bulbs (not
included).
Re-insert the previously removed screws
back into the access panel.
