Operating instructions

Before switching on the power tool
 Unpack power tool and accessories and
check that no parts are missing or
damaged.
Operation with guard hood

Attaching the guard hood
 Loosen and unscrew the locking screw (1.).
 Push guard hood over the pins on the
housing (2.).
 Screw in locking screw (3.).
 Remove guard hood in reverse sequence.
Attaching the Velcro pad

 Press and hold down the spindle lock.
 Screw sanding disc onto the spindle.
 Tighten sanding disc clockwise using
holding wrench.
 Place sanding tool in the centre of the Velcro
pad.
Attaching diamond sanding disc
 Press and hold down the spindle lock.
 Screw diamond sanding disc onto the
spindle.
 Tighten diamond sanding disc clockwise
using the holding wrench.
Check position of the guard
The brush ring should protrude over the
sanding pad by approx. 0–1 mm.
To compensate for wear on the diamond
sanding pad, the height of the guard can be
adjusted.
 Loosen locking screw anti-clockwise (1.).
 Adjust the guard by turning it to the required
height (2.).
 Tighten locking screw (3.).
