The command window should return something similar to the following:
C:\Documents and Settings\admin>ping 192.168.1.1

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1:

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

If the computer fails to connect to the repeater, the Command window will
return the following:

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),
Verify your computer's network settings are correct and check the cable
connection between the repeater and the computer.
