CONTROL SYSTEM SET-UP
NOTE: The wall control and receiver have 16 di erent code combinations. To prevent possible
interference from or to other remote units, simply change the combination code on the receiver
and wall control as below.
Step 1. Slide the code switches on the receiver to your choice of either up or down using a small
ballpoint pen (not included). (Fig. 13)
Step 2. To set the code on the wall control, use a small flat screwdriver and gently pry it apart
from the top or bottom of the switch plate. Slip the code switches to the same positions as set
on the receiver. (Fig.13)
NOTE: Factory setting is all up. Do not use this position.
NOTE: If you are using more than one fan in the same area and want to control them separately,
change code switches on receiver and wall control to a new setting.
Step 3. Install the 23A 12V battery (included) with wall control system and make sure it is seated
correctly. Replace the switch plate. (Fig. 14)
NOTE: Remove battery if remote has not been used for a long period of time in order to avoid
damage. Store wall control away from excessive heat or humidity.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
WARNING: To avoid possible electrical shock, be sure you have turned o the power at the main
circuit panel before wiring.
Follow the steps below to connect the fan to your household wiring. Use the wire connectors
supplied with your fan. Secure the connector with electrical tape. Make sure there are no loose
wire stands or connections.
WARNING: If your house wires are di erent colors than referenced in this manual, stop
immediately. A professional electrician is recommended to determine proper wiring.
Step 1. Insert the receiver into the mounting bracket, and keep flat in opposition of ceiling. (Fig. 15)
