ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

- To avoid safety hazards or malfunctions, electrical control devices connected
to the motor must be rated according to the characteristics of the motor.
- Disconnect devices must be installed in the mains power supply line in accord-
ance with national installation regulations.
- The selectors for reversing the direction of rotation of the motor must be fitted
with a mechanical interlock.
- To change the direction of rotation, invert the brown and black conductors.
- Do not connect two or more selectors to the same motor.
- If used outdoors, use a H05RN-F power cable with a minimum carbon content
of 2%.
- Do not use connecting cables between the selector and the motor that are
longer than 50 m. If the motor has to be controlled from a greater distance, use
an isolating relay.
