Power Saver Menu
To meet certain government low standby power limits, Power Saver
mode enables the charger to turn off some of the pockets when there is
no activity in those pockets for a period of time (applicable only on the
IMPRES 2 charger). Examples of activity include the following:
• Radio or battery charging.
• Battery Calibration / Reconditioning.
• Lithium-ion Battery preparation for shipment.
• Battery preparation for Long-Term Storage.
• Charger Setup Mode.
• Charger Analysis Mode.
• Fault.
• Recommending Calibration / Reconditioning.
Pocket #1 remains on, but may be sleeping. To turn on Pocket #2
through Pocket #6, press any Keypad button. Inserting the radio or
battery into the pocket also turns on Pocket #2 through Pocket #6.
