If there is difficulty in pressing the lock inward, make light movements with
the removal rod in clockwise and counterclockwise directions.
E4) Then, with the lock in the UNLOCK position, turn the removal rod a few turns in the
counterclockwise direction until the circuit breaker arrives at the TEST position. At this
moment the lock jumps outward again (LOCK).
AttentIon!
Never turn the removal rod withthe lock in the LOCK position.
The TEST position can be confirmed by the position indicator.
If the lock jumps outward immediately in the first turns of the rod without the circuit breaker
having arrived at the TEST position, press the lock inward and continue the operation.
In the TEST position, the power circuits are disconnected and the control circuits are
connected.
E5) To bring the circuit breaker to the REMOVED (DISCONNECTED) position, repeat
procedures E2), E3) and E4).
If desired, the circuit breaker may be pulled by the tracks and totally removed from the
removal carriage.
