9. The brake fluid reservoir is now filled to the top. For
this, guide the spiral hose from the back side of the
unit into the store tank and switch the on/off
switch 6 to ON Caution! Please replace the filter
when contamination can clearly be seen! Remove
brake fluid until the allowable filled level range in
the brake fluid reservoir is reached.
The removal of fluid is not necessary when a special
adapter with a displacement tap is used (see adapter
list)
10. Dismount the adapter and close the brake fluid res-
ervoir.
Important! In all cases, the instructions and guidelines
prescribed by the manufacturer of each type of vehicle
apply for the bleeding of the brake equipment.
To be observed: If it should become apparent after the
brake fluid bleeding or replacing process that the actu-
ation distance of the brake or clutch pedal is too long or
the pressure build-up is too "soft", the bleeding process
must be repeated after several strong operations of the
brake or clutch equipment.

Problem

With this device, the possibility also exists for checking
the brake system after replacing the fluid for leakage in
the system (e. g. secondary collars) and freedom of mo-
tion of the brake pistons.
Contact our customer service when your unit does not
operate flawlessly in spite of having followed the in-
structions give above. You will be helped quickly and
reliably.
Cause
The fluid container is empty.
Suction hose is kinked.
Air in the hose.
The shut-off valve 2 is in the «CLOSE»
position.
Fuse defective.
Filter contaminated
Checking for Leakage
The complete system is bubble-free and coupled to
the filler hose.
The switched-on unit has a working pressure of
2 bar, or has built-up the allowable pressure. Then
turn the shut-off valve 2 to the «CLOSE» position and
switch the unit to «OFF» with the On/Off switch 7.
Wait a few minutes to determine if the pressure indi-
cated on the pressure gauge 3 sinks. If it sinks more
than 0.2 bar on the scale, the brake equipment
probably has a leak. Therefore, perform the appro-
priate inspections and measures.
Proof of freedom of motion of the brake pistons are
the blocked wheels at the low pressure of 2 bar.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Before any work on the machine itself, pull the mains
plug.
Always keep the machine clean.
Never clean the unit with a steam spray.
Corrective Action
Replace the container.
Remove kinks from the hose or replace,
if defective.
Vent the unit as for initial operation.
Shut-off valve 2 to the «OPEN» posi-
tion.
Replace the fuse 8.
Replace filter.
