When folding up, make sure

1. Open the filter cover (12)
2. Remove the two-part air filter (13).
3. Clean the air filter (13) in a soap
solution.
4. Allow the air filter to dry.

5. Put a few drops of fresh engine oil
into the air filter.
6. Replace the faulty air filter with a
new air filter (see „Replacement
parts/Accessories").
7. Insert the new air filter (13) into
the air filter cover (12).
8. Close the air filter cover and se-
curely lock it into place.
A worn spark plug or a spark gap
that is too large will result in a re-
duction of engine performance.
1. Disconnect the spark plug
connector (15) from the spark
plug (34) by simultaneously pull-
ing and turning.
2. Unscrew spark plug (34) coun-
ter clockwise with a spark plug
socket (33).
3. Check the spark gap using a
feeler gauge (available from
specialist shops). The spark gap
must be at least 0.75 mm.
4. If necessary, adjust the gap by
carefully bending the ground
electrode on the spark plug.
5. Clean the spark plug with a wire
brush.
6. Insert the cleaned and adjusted
spark plug (34) or replace a
damaged spark plug with a new
one (Torch F6RTC or Champion
RN9Y or NGK BPR 6ES)
7. Tighten the spark plug (34) by
turning in a clockwise direction
with a spark plug wrench (33).
(recommended torque 20 Nm,
determined with a torque
wrench).
