13. Place insulation sleeve A (PN 3861453) around
the heat exchanger.
NOTE!
14. If you placed nuts from Step 11 on the stud,
remove them now.
15. Place top bracket B (PN 3861476) into position
on the studs so it fits around the heat
exchanger.
16. Place the new raw water pump stay bracket
(PN 3861544) on the studs.

17. Use an extension on a 9/16 in. (14mm) socket
and nuts C (PN 3853404) to attach heat
exchanger and raw water pump stay brackets
on studs.
Tighten nuts to 23–38 ft. lbs. (31–51 Nm).

18. Attach raw water pump outlet hose D. Use a
saved clamp to secure the hose in place.
Using a 5/16 in. (8mm) socket, tighten screw to
27–43 in. lbs. (3.1–4.9 Nm).

Ensure that the alignment pin on the heat
exchanger remains engaged with the hole
on the lower bracket.
