INSTRUCTIONS
MODEL FP000149A
The FloJet Cellar Drainer provides an easy to use, low cost
method of disposing of unwanted water. Attach the female
end, marked "IN", to garden hose. Attach short length of
garden hose to fitting, marked "SUCTION". Keep this hose as
short as possible and submerge end in water to be vacuumed
away. Attach 5/8" garden hose to fitting, marked "OUT", and
turn on the faucet. Watch the water disappear.
With a 3' length of hose on the "SUCTION" fitting and a 50'
length of 5/8" hose on the "OUT" fitting, you will vacuum away
two gallons per minute. This flow is based upon having water
pressure of 50 psi, which is minimal for most city water
systems. Slightly reduced flow is obtained on home water
systems or in rural areas with less than 50 psi.
Flows up to five gallons per minute are obtained by eliminating
the 50' discharge hose on the "OUT" fitting and placing the
FloJet Cellar Drainer in a laundry tray or in a bucket outside
the basement. Turn on the faucet, place thumb over "OUT"
fitting until vacuum action begins.
