Air line lubricators that inject oil right at the inlet of the tool,
when each cycle is initiated, are excellent for short cycle
applications like screw driving or nut setting. On many
fastener applications the tool run is so short that regular air
line lubricators do not get oil to the tool.
If the air supply is not equipped with an airline lubricator the
tool must be manually lubricated. To manually lubricate the
tool, disconnect the air supply line at the tool and place 2-3
drops of suitable air line oil into the inlet fitting of the tool.
Manually lubricate the tool daily or if the tool begins to slow
down or lose power.

Fastener Tool Inspection
Closely inspect the drive socket or bit before
installation and use. Replace a worn or
damaged drive socket or bit immediately to
prevent breakage during use.
Make certain the drive socket or bit is properly
attached before operating the tool.

Personal protective equipment

Exercise caution, pay attention to what
you are doing and act reasonably at all
times when working with a pneumatic tool.
Never use a pneumatic tool while under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
One moment of inattentiveness in the use of
a pneumatic tool can cause serious injuries.
Risk of injury by being wound up in and caught by machinery:
When working with rotating parts, it is
prohibited to wear gloves.

→ Wear close fitting clothing.
→ If necessary, wear a hair net.
Risk of injury due to ejected components:
Wear protective goggles.
Risk of injury due to torque reaction:
Right angle stall type assembly tools, clutch
tools with shut-off adjusted over the maximum
power output of the tool, or a drop in air
pressure can cause a torque reaction and
potential injury to the operator's hands.
When operating right angle assembly tools, make sure the
throttle is positioned relative to the angle head so that the
throttle will not become wedged against an adjacent object
in the "ON" position due to torque reaction.
The angle head may be repositioned with respect to the
throttle lever to accommodate the proper location for the
application.
If the tool is to be reversed, locate the throttle lever in a
neutral position to prevent entrapment in either direction.

Operating Instructions
This tool is not electrically insulated. Do not operate where
there is a possibility of coming into contact with electrical
wiring, gas pipes, water pipes, etc. Inspect the work area
thoroughly before operating the tool.
The work area must be clean, uncluttered, thoroughly
ventilated, and well illuminated.
Make sure the work environment is free of
any flammable or combustible elements that
sparks from the assembly process could ignite
causing an explosion.
Fully engage the drive socket or bit with the assembly
application before starting the tool.
During operation of the tool or when the air supply is
connected, keep your hands away from the drive socket or
bit to avoid injury.
Always disconnect the air supply from the tool before
changing drive sockets, bits, or making tool adjustments.
Do not lay the tool down until the drive socket or bit has
come to a complete stop. Make certain the tool has stopped
before moving to a different location.
