CHAIN REGULATION AND TILLER ALIGNMENT
REGULATION OF THE ALIGNMENT BETWEEN TILLER AND TRACTION WHEEL
It is necessary periodically to verify that the stacker movement direction is aligned with
the movement direction imposed by the tiller; if it is the case to correct the alignment
between the tiller and traction wheel there is necessary to:
1) Disconnect the switch to disconnect the battery (part 1)
2) Unscrew the screws (part 2) to remove the rear cover (part 3)
3) Loosen the screw (part 5) of the sprocket (part 6) connected with the traction wheel
until this is free to rotate freely.
4) Align the tiller with the traction wheel checking for short way the sense of movement
direction.
5) Tighten with force the screw (part 5) of sprocket connected with the traction wheel.
6) Assemble again the rear cover (part 3).
REGULATION OF THE CHAIN
For a good transmission of the moment from the tiller to the traction wheel it is necessary
that the chain (part 9) is subject to a powerful tension: to restore this tension it is
necessary to:
1) disconnect the switch for disconnecting the battery (part 1)
2) unscrew the screw (part 2) in order to remove the posterior carter (part 3)
3) loosen the screws (part 7) that keeps in position the support of transmission bearing
(part 8)
4) stretch the chain operating on registration screw (part 10) until there is a sufficient
tension for a good transmission of the moment between the tiller and the axle of the
traction wheel.
5) tighten with force the screw (part 7).
6) check if there is a not-alignment between the traction wheel and the tiller, if there is it
necessary execute an alignment regulation between the traction wheel and the tiller,
as indicated above.
7) Assemble again the rear cover (part 3).
