• Only connect the connecting cable for electrofusion coupling
to the electrofusion sleeve coupling or electrofusion tape
once clean and dry Geberit PE or Geberit Silent-db20 pipes
or fittings have been inserted.
• Do not open the electrofusion machine. Only replace
defective connecting cables for electrofusion coupling with
the corresponding spare part from Geberit.
• Defective mains and coupling connection cables should only
be replaced by an authorised repair shop.
• Replace connecting cables for electrofusion coupling with
worn plugs.
Maintenance and repairs only to be carried out by repair
shops
Electrofusion machines that are not maintained, or are not
professionally maintained, can cause serious accidents.
• Maintain the electrofusion machine according to the
regulations. See "Maintenance", page 26
• Maintenance and repair work may only be performed by
authorised repair shops. For addresses of authorised repair
shops, contact your Geberit sales company or visit
www.geberit.com.
