VEHICLE CONFIGURATION
TYPE OF PETROL TO ALT. FUEL SWITCH-OVER
(Fig. 5)
Indicates to the GALILEO E.C.U. how the PETROL to GAS switchover
is to occur.
DECELERATION
The switchover from PETROL to GAS occurs after the engine has
exceeded the preselected RPM threshold and there is a decrease in
engine RPM (deceleration).
ACCELERATION
The switchover from PETROL to GAS occurs in acceleration when the
engine goes beyond the preselected RPM threshold.
FUEL SWITCH-OVER TEMPERATURE (Fig. 6)
Indicates the temperature that the pressure regulator must reach
before the system is automatically switched to GAS mode.
To utilize this option, it is necessary to have a regulator provided with
appropriate temperature sensor.
PETROL TO ALT. FUEL SWITCH-OVER RPM (Fig. 7)
This is the number of engine RPM that determines the threshold for
the fuel switchover.
SWITCHER TYPE (Fig. 8)
Indicates to the GALILEO E.C.U. the type of SWITCHER that is utlilized
on the vehicle.
WITH LEVEL GAUGE
Select this option if it is connected to a GALILEO E.C.U. with a switch
and level gauge.
PUSH-BUTTON ONLY
Select this option if it is connected to a GALILEO E.C.U. with a switch
with only button.
DURATION OF FUEL OVERLAP (Fig. 9)
If the two YELLOW wires of the GALILEO are utilized in order to disable
injection, it is possible to delay the engagement of the fuel injection
while the GAS electrovalves are opening. This allows the GAS to leave
the regulator and reach the intake manifold while the engine is still
operating on PETROL, thus avoiding carburetion holes and possible
backfires. For this reason, during the fuel switchover, there is a short
overlap of the two fuels.
The fuel overlap time is adjustable between 0÷5 seconds.
TYPE OF ALT. FUEL LEVEL INDICATOR (Fig. 10)
Indicates to the GALILEO E.C.U. the type of GAS level sensor that is
utlilized on the vehicle.
A.E.B.
Select this option if any A.E.B. type L.P.G. or C.N.G. sensor (either
"optic" or "resistor" type) is used.
0-90 OHM
Select this option for any L.P.G. sensor with a variable resistance
from 0 Ohm (empty) to 90 Ohm (full).
ONLY LOW FUEL SENSOR TYPE (Fig. 11)
Select this option if a sensor with the exclusive function of indicating
low fuel for L.P.G. or C.N.G. is used.
