6 Assembling the Cultivator
6.6 Attaching the Guard and Cov‐
ers
6.6.1 Attaching the Guard
► Insert bolt (1) through holders (2), aligning the
bores.
► Place washer (3) on bolt (1).
► Screw on nut (4) and tighten.
► Insert bolt (5) through holder (6).
► Place washer (3) on bolt (5).
► Screw on nut (4) and tighten.
► Insert bolts (7) through guard plate (8).
► Place washers (3) on bolts (7).
► Screw on nuts (4) and tighten.

6.6.2 Attaching the Covers
► Fit cover (1).
► Place cover (2) on the handlebar.
► Screw in screws (3).
6.7 Attaching the Gear Lever
► Unscrew nut (1) and remove bolt (2).
► Slide gear lever (3) onto the mount so the
bores align.
► Insert bolt (2).
► Screw on nut (1) and tighten.
6.8 Topping Up the Gearbox Oil
The gearbox oil lubricates and cools the tiller
gearbox.
