Changing the oil (Fig. 4)
Regularly check the oil level (Fig. 1).
Check oil level every 8 operating hours or daily prior to
starting the engine (see oil recommendations).
Warning!
Before draining the oil, empty the fuel tank and
close the fuel tap. Otherwise, there is a risk of
explosion and fire due to fuel leaking out.
Drain the used oil while the engine is warm.
Warm oil drains quickly and completely.
1. To drain the fuel tank, let the engine run until it runs
out of petrol.
2. Remove spark plug cap (Component index, Item 6).
3. Place a suitable container under the engine to catch
the oil.
4. Screw out the dip stick (Component index, Item 5).
5. Tip the engine sideways (Fig. 4) over the collecting
container so that all the oil can drain out of the oil
filler pipe (A).
6. Place engine back into the horizontal position.
7. Fill in new oil (SAE 10W-30, fill volume: 0.6 l).
8. Screw in dip stick.
Dispose responsibly of used oil.
