12. Install the Blocks
Measure the distance between the bracket pin at the bottom and the front edge of the strike
expander jamb. Record this dimension.
Slide the block in the top frame of the door panel toward the pivot side frame.
Measure the distance from the edge of the door handle to the center of the farthest pin hole in the
block.
Locate the pin hole 1/4" (6 mm) less than the measurement taken in the first step.
Insert a #8-18 x 1/2" panhead screw through the frame slot of the door panel top frame into the
block screwport.
Fasten the screw into the block screwport.
Use the same procedures to secure the block in the door panel bottom frame.
