5. Locate the "L" Jamb
Place the "L" jamb against the wall opposite the showerhead.
Make sure the "L" jamb and bottom track are fully engaged. If they are not engaged, use a file to
shape the bottom edge of the "L" jamb to fit the curved edge of the shower.
Use a level to plumb the "L" jamb.
Mark each of the top six hole locations. Make sure the "L" jamb does not move while you are
marking the holes. Do not mark the bottom two holes.
Remove the "L" jamb and bottom track.
NOTE: If the installation is on ceramic tile, use the center punch to nick the surface glaze. Tap the punch
lightly with a hammer to avoid cracking the tile.
Lightly center punch the six hole locations.
NOTE: Start drilling slowly to prevent damage.
Drill each of the six holes with a 3/16" drill bit. (Use a masonry bit for ceramic tile.)
After drilling, thoroughly clean the shower ledge and insert anchors in all six holes.
6. Caulk and Install Bottom Track
Apply a bead of caulk to the underside of the bottom track.
Make sure the ledge is clean and install the bottom track at the location marked on the shower
ledge.
Use masking tape to hold the bottom track in place.
