3. Locate the Bottom Track
Locate the bottom track on the shower ledge. It should be located on the flattest part of the ledge.
Position the bottom track so the gaps between the track and the wall are identical at both ends.
Make sure the bottom track is placed so it is an equal distance from the front edge of the shower
ledge at all points.
Temporarily secure the bottom track to the ledge with masking tape, taking care to keep it in the
desired position.
Mark the location of the bottom track with a soft pencil.
4. Locate the Strike Side Wall Jamb
Position the wall jamb with the shorter legs toward the showerhead side of the stall opening. The
flange holes should face the inside of the shower stall.
Fit the wall jamb over the bottom track. If necessary, shape the bottom edge of the wall jamb to fit
the curve at the side wall.
Use a level to align the wall jamb vertically and mark the hole locations.
NOTE: When the installation is on ceramic tile, use the center punch to nick the surface glaze. Tap the
punch lightly with the hammer to avoid cracking the ceramic tile.
Remove the wall jamb and lightly center punch the four hole locations.
NOTE: Start drilling slowly to prevent damage.
Drill all four holes with a 3/16" drill bit (use a masonry bit for ceramic tile), thoroughly clean the
shower ledge, and insert the anchors in all four holes.
