Connect the instrument to the installation to be tested using the accessories supplied (leads and crocodile clip). It is preferable that the "+" is connected to the earth. Select an insulation measurement position with the switch (500 V for the C.A 6511, 500 or 1000 V for the C.A 6513). -

CONTINUITY MEASUREMENT After having connected the instrument to the installation to be tested, you must check that no voltage is present (see "Insulation measurement/voltage"). Set the switch to the "10 Ω" position. The measurement is done automatically without having to press the yellow button. Read the value on the white scale 0 to 10 Ω. -

Stellen Sie den Drehschalter auf die für die Isolationsprüfung vorgesehene Position (500 V beim C.A 6511; 500 oder 1000 V beim C.A 6513). In diesem Stadium befindet sich das Gerät automatisch im Modus «Wechselstrom- Voltmeter». Das Gerät führt eine Spannungsmessung zwischen den Anschlußklemmen + und - aus (Spannungsskala bis 600 V ~). -

DURCHGANGSPRÜFUNG Nachdem das Gerät an die zu kontrollierende Einrichtung angeschlossen worden ist, sollte jegliche Spannungsabwesenheit überprüft werden (siehe «Isolationsmessung / Spannungsmessung). Danach ist der Drehschalter auf «+10Ω» einzustellen. Die Messung erfolgt automatisch ohne Betätigung des gelben Schaltknopfes. Der Meßwert wird auf der weißen Skala von 0 bis 10 angezeigt. -

Selezionare, tramite il commutatore, una posizione di misura di isolamento (500 V per il C.A 6511, 500 o 1000 V per il C.A 6513). L’apparecchio è in tale fase, automaticamente posizionato in voltmetro alternato. L’apparecchio misura la tensione tra i morsetti + e - (scala delle tensioni fino ai 600 V ~). -

MISURA DI CONTINUITÀ’ Avendo collegato l’apparecchio con l’impianto da controllare, conviene verificare l’assenza di tensione (vedi “Misura dell’isolamento / Tensione”). Quindi posizionare il commutatore su “+10”. La misura viene automaticamente effettuata: non occorre premere il pulsante giallo. Leggere il valore sulla scala bianca da 0 a 10. Quindi posizionare il commutatore su “- 10” e verificare che il valore medesimo della continuità... -
